BASIC WAY TO PARADISE

The struggle is to earn the paradise of Allah (SWA).  The only way to attain that is through Allah and the prophet Muhammad (SAW).  Allah has created the paradise and the hell, He let us know the deeds to paradise and to hell through the prophet.

The prophet (SAW) taught us many ways we can earn the paradise of Allah.  Am going to discuss the basic way to paradise.

It was reported by Abu Urairah (RA) he said: one Arab came to prophet (SAW) and said recommend an act for me that if I should do it I will enter paradise.  The prophet said:

“Worship Allah and don’t associate any partner with Him, and say the obligatory prayers, and give out the zakat which is obligatory and fast in the month of Ramadan.”

He said (the Arab) by Him in whose Hand my soul is, I will not include any other things to these.  When he left the prophet said whoever wishes to see a man from the people of paradise, he should look at that (pointing to the Arab).

In this hadith, the basic key to the paradise was stated to us by the noble prophet Muhammad (SAW) which are the pillars of Islam.

If the Muslim can only take care of the five pillars of Islam, it’s enough for him to earn the paradise of his creator.

What are the pillars of Islam?
Reported by Abdr-raman, Abdullah bn Umar bn khatab (RA) he said I heard the prophet (SAW) saying:
“Islam has been built on five (pillars); testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, performing the prayers, paying the zakah, making the pilgrimage to the House and fasting in the month of Ramadan.”

Pillars of Islam
1.Testimony of Faith (Iman).
2.Saying the obligatory prayer (Solat)
3.Paying the obligatory charity given (Zakkah)
4.Visiting the sacred of Allah (Hajj)
5.Fasting in the month of Ramada (Sawm)

This focus on what the hadith of the Arab also did.  In this hadith, we can also derive that any acts out this basic is null and void, that is if one is doing other deeds of paradise but neglect all or one of this five pillars, it’s all in vain.

It’s important to take care of the five pillars of Islam if truly we are struggling for the paradise of Allah.
And Allah knows Best.
